Sharing Users\u2019 Personal Data with GAC SOFTWARE\u2019s Data Processors and Third-Party Companies: Who Has Access to Your Personal Data?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your data remains for the exclusive use of the Data Controller. It may only be disclosed to the recipients listed below to the extent that the transfer of such data is necessary to fulfill the purposes listed in Section 2 above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The User\u2019s personal data may be shared among companies within the GAC Software Group, as well as with GAC Software\u2019s subcontractors and third-party companies, for the purpose of providing hosting and maintenance services for the customer database(s).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Service providers have limited access to the data for the purpose of performing these services and are contractually obligated to use it in accordance with the provisions of applicable regulations regarding the protection of personal data,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If required by law, companies within the GAC SOFTWARE Group may disclose data in order to respond to legal or regulatory requests, court orders, subpoenas, or legal proceedings, and to comply with administrative and judicial procedures,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the Data Controller is involved in a merger, acquisition, asset sale, or bankruptcy proceeding, it may be required to transfer or share all or part of its assets, including personal data. In such a case, Users would be notified before any personal data is transferred to a third party.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. Shelf Life<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In accordance with the law, your personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes mentioned above or to enable the Data Controller to meet its legal obligations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Therefore, the data collected when you submit a contact request is retained for as long as necessary to process it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Connection data (logs) are retained for a maximum of one year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Personal data used for marketing purposes may be retained for a maximum of three (3) years from the date of the last interaction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6. The data being processed is hosted in France or within the European Economic Area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In any event, the Data Controller undertakes to comply with the legal provisions governing the transfer of personal data abroad: any transfer of data outside the EU will be based on an adequacy decision, governed by standard contractual clauses for data protection, or governed by ad hoc contractual clauses previously authorized by the CNIL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">7. Security and Privacy<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The companies of the GAC SOFTWARE Group implement organizational, technical, software, and physical measures related to digital security to protect personal data against alteration, destruction, and unauthorized access. However, it should be noted that the Internet is not a completely secure environment\u2014no technology is 100% reliable\u2014and the Site cannot guarantee the security of the transmission or storage of information over the Internet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All of our employees and service providers are required to ensure the security and protection of your data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">8.
