What purpose does it serve? And how does <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gac-carfleet.com\/blog\/comment-calculer-tco\/\">calculate TCO<\/a>?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is TCO?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Definition<\/h3>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The term <strong>TCO<\/strong> stands for <em>Total Cost of Ownership<\/em>. This cost of ownership combines all the expenses linked to the purchase and use of a vehicle, or more globally of a vehicle fleet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In general, the TCO includes several elements such as :<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li>Purchase or lease price<\/li>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<li>Registration fees<\/li>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<li>Fuel costs<\/li>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<li>Insurance costs<\/li>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<li>Maintenance costs<\/li>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<li>Taxation<\/li>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<li>Resale cost<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please note that these elements of the TCO calculation may vary from one company to another, depending on the way they are managed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is the purpose of this indicator?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">TCO is therefore a way of <strong>calculating all the parameters that impact the cost of owning a vehicle<\/strong>. Its analysis enables the fleet manager to choose between several car models, depending on the company&#8217;s specific needs.
